Plusquam Royal was established in March 2011 to represent the non-trance releases of Plusquam Records. Therefore a clean line between progressive trance and non-trance was created.

Most of the releases are based in the genres between Tech-House, Progressive House, Deep House, Techno and generally Electronica.
